Weihnachtsmarkt In Hamburg

Hamburg was awesome yesterday and we had a cosy time at the Chrismasmarket. It took 5 hours to drive down and 5 hours back which is much less than I expected. We are definitely going back down there. Hamburg itself is a very nice city and the people were very friendly.

  1. Oh, I'd love to go to a Christkindl Markt! The one in Munich is another very cool one... Sitting here and eating chips and salsa, and mandarines and string cheese and reading blogs:-) No snow in sight!

  2. No snow in Colorado? I thought you would be all snowed in by now. I love salsa! Shawn makes it quite often together with homemade flax seed crackers.
We don´t have Christkindl markets here in Sweden - not the same as we have in Austria anyway so it was a bit of a walk down the memory lane thing :). On some occasions I do miss Austria, specially when I think about skiing and the mountains of course.

  3. Today we got snow! Just a few inches, but very wet. With more to come until Friday. The horses were soaking wet this morning, so they are munching their breakfast in the barn to dry off. At lunch, I'll run over and put blankets on them and turn them back out :-)
Yeah, Christkindl Markets and the Biergarten... I miss stuff like that! Homemade flax seed crackers sound yummy!!!
