another book from my december book order. I´m in desperate need of a new bookshelf. This novel is one of the best novels I read lately.
This is the story of a young girl, Martha Lessen, whose love of horses and the American West lead her to become a horse whisperer, taming horses with kindness. It takes place during the First World War, when many young girls and women have taken on the work of men gone to fight. It is a touching story of life in a bygone era when people and their animals depended on each other through the hardships and the simple glad times. Written with warmth and understanding, it is a must read for anyone who loves horses.
Så många spännande böcker du läser. Skulle du kunna tänka dig att lista de fem som du allra mest kan rekommendera. Förstår att det är svårt men det vore roligt att se. Kanske kan få mig att lägga in en beställning efter jul.
